"Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer." - William S. Burroughs
Learn to relax and wait for the answer. That seems like a tall order in our "instant" society. There is so much to be learned when we sit and wait for the answers, especially the answers to difficult or important questions.
A quiet, relaxed mind does a much better job of thinking, dreaming and problem solving. In this calm mental state we find our center, and our creativity - in all of its many forms!
This is a truth I've come to understand in my life, and I even rely on it when there are hard questions to answer. There's a bit of surrendering control and letting go that comes when we do this. It's actually a relief to know it doesn't have to be so hard.
Happy Monday!
