Gratitude is a state of being. We don't have to force it, create it or "do" anything to make gratitude happen. Gratitude is as simple as seeing ourselves, those around us, and everything in our lives exactly as it is in this moment - and being thankful for it all.
Scarcity and lack are states of mind, as is gratitude. We can easily get caught up in those, feeling like there is never enough. The reality is that life is abundant, and becomes more so the moment we decide to focus on our blessings and all that we have.
I hope this long holiday weekend has been full of things to be grateful for and memories to be cherished for years to come.
