"A little spark of madness..." is such a beautiful thing. In the movie Good Will Hunting, Robin Williams' character refers to our human quirks and idiosyncrasies as "the good stuff", and I truly believe that!
This past Christmas, I watched the Disney/ Pixar movie "Soul", and it has become one of my favorites from those production studios, right up there with Monsters. Inc. I've become a sucker for children's movies again, since all of them have such beautifully simple and magically delivered wisdom.
As a creative, I am well attuned to that spark, the creativity that lives in all of us, but is often forgotten or pushed aside by "real life". I like to think is it a spark of madness, which makes us so much more interesting. Finding it again is the storyline for so many wonderful movies and books, and in my opinion, what life is all about!
