This is often the first suggestion when you call a technical support line, what if we looked to this bit of wisdom first when something feels like it isn't working within ourselves? What if our first response was to stop, reset, and take a breath, rather than to go, fix, take action etc...
September has been a month of slowing down, as it always is for me. The sleepy September days allow time and space for self care, lots of time spent in nature, and diving deep into the creative process.
It really is true that we work better when we unplug for awhile. Let's try to carry this intention through the last week of "Self Care September" and beyond!
