Monday Morning Inspiration, May 25

"Embrace uncertainty. Some of the most beautiful chapters in our lives won’t have a title until much later."― Bob Goff

There is something both beautiful and uncomfortable about not knowing.

Most of us like to have a plan. We like to understand what season we are in while we are still standing in the middle of it. We want to know if something is a beginning, an ending, a lesson, a blessing, or just one of those strange little chapters that make absolutely no sense while we are living it. Life rarely gives us the meaning right away.

Sometimes we only understand a season after we have lived through it. We look back and realize that the confusing part was actually where we were growing. The pause was not wasted time. The detour was not a mistake. The uncertain chapter was quietly shaping us in ways we could not see yet.

It is easy to recognize the beauty in hindsight. It is much harder to trust it while everything still feels unfinished.

That is the challenging part of uncertainty. We want answers because answers feel safe. We want to know where something is going before we allow ourselves to relax into it. But so much of life asks us to keep showing up before we know exactly how the story will unfold.

Maybe, the invitation is not to rush to define everything. Maybe it is to let ourselves be in the middle without needing to know what this chapter will be called, because so often, the title only makes sense later.

The season that felt confusing may become the season that made us brave. The delay may become part of the preparation. The unknown may become the place where something beautiful began.

May we trust that not every meaningful part of life announces itself clearly at the beginning, and may we remember that some of the most beautiful chapters are still being written, even before we know what to call them.

Happy Monday!
