"Some of us think holding on makes us strong, but sometimes it is letting go."— Hermann Hesse
There’s a common idea that strength means holding on at all costs, pushing through, staying the course, muscling our way forward no matter what.
But there’s another kind of strength that often goes unnoticed.
The strength to pause.
The strength to listen.
The strength to release what no longer fits.
As we move into February, there’s a quieter energy available to us. One that invites reflection rather than urgency. One that asks us to consider where we might be gripping out of habit, fear, or old expectations, rather than true alignment.
Letting go doesn’t mean we didn’t try hard enough.
It doesn’t mean we failed.
It often means we’ve grown.
Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is make space—for clarity, for creativity, for peace. To trust that setting something down can be just as powerful as carrying it through.
As you move through this week, I hope you give yourself permission to notice what feels heavy and to release what no longer needs your energy.
Happy Monday!
