With Mothers’ Day not too far behind us, we recently created some really fun custom jewelry designs to be worn as mother’s jewelry or family jewelry, with gemstones to represent children, grandchildren and other family members. Both were customized versions of our stock items which worked PERFECTLY with the gemstone numbers and combos our clients desired. The sky is the limit! We welcome custom work and would love to create a special piece just for you!

For example, this multi-swirl gemstone ring is a design we generally make with three gemstones (click here to see the original with blue topaz), but we added SIX MORE for a total of nine birthstones – and it came out great! Definitely a future heirloom.

Another unique piece of family jewelry, the octopus pendant usually holds three gemstones in the tentacles, but in this commission, six of the octopus’s legs each hold a grandchild’s birthstone, with a gemmy, rich genuine amethyst cabochon for the head. (Click here to see the octopus with paua shell and blue topaz). Did you notice there are only seven legs?! The eighth is holding onto to your heart.
