What we focus on and where we direct our energy does bring more of it into our lives. Unfortunately, this is true with the negative and the positive! Another reason why focusing on the good in life, the things we are grateful for, and the blessings in our lives right this minute is such a powerful practice. It really does attract more goodness into our lives!
As humans, most of us have a negative bias. Our brains are still wired for problem-solving as a means of survival, but most of us don't need this in the way humans once did. We can choose to see what isn't perfect in a situation, or we can choose to see what is wonderful about it. Seeing the good really does create more of the good!
What will you focus on this week and where will you spend your energy? It's one of our most precious resources, spend it wisely.
