"Despite the forecast, live like it’s spring." — Lilly Pulitzer
Spring officially arrives this month with the March equinox, that beautiful moment when day and night stand in near-perfect balance. Equal light. Equal dark. A quiet turning point.
And isn’t that such a metaphor for life?
We don’t suddenly leap from winter into full bloom. We move through balance. Through contrast. Through days that still feel heavy, even as the light begins to linger a little longer in the evenings.
Not because everything is perfect.
Not because the world is calm.
Not because the skies are always blue.
But because we get to choose how we show up within it.
Living like it’s spring doesn’t mean ignoring reality. It doesn’t mean bypassing the hard things. It means remembering that renewal is always happening, even if it’s subtle. Even if it’s slow. Even if it’s invisible to everyone but you.
The equinox reminds us that darkness and light coexist. But it also reminds us that the light is growing.
Happy Monday!
