The Animal Jam logo and design was created in 2014 for the first ever Animal Jam event, held at Rhythms at Rainbow Beach here on our beautiful island of St. Croix. The event was planned as a “family fun day at the beach to raise awareness and funds to help abandoned and mistreated companion animals on St. Croix.” Funds raised through this event over the years have gone to benefit animal welfare on the island through organizations like Healing Paws Sanctuary, Inc., the VI Humane Learning Center, the Sunshine Foundation St Croix, The St. Croix Animal Welfare Center and Cruzan Cowgirls Horse Rescue. 

This year, category 5 Hurricane Maria swept over our island leaving many homes and business damaged and the entire island without power. During this time, the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center was damaged, repeatedly looted and they were forced to close their doors and relocate. A move like this is not easy thing during the best of times, even more of a challenge in the wake of a major hurricane! Thanks to many amazing volunteers, the Animal Shelter has a new home – but they still have much rebuilding to do!

The Animal Jam logo was designed by local artist Laura Ballard and we have translated this into a jewelry design in sterling silver with a hammered texture for sparkle and shine! Available in latching “hook” bangle bracelets and a small and large size for pendants and earrings. Designed with a dog, cat and horse motif, this jewelry collection allows you to show your love for island animals while supporting a great cause! Help us rebuild the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center!
