"Be like a tree and let the dead leaves drop. Be like the sun and shine on everyone. Be like kindness, it asks for nothing in return." — Rumi
Nature often has a way of teaching us the lessons we most need to hear, and we can learn much if we slow down to listen. The tree reminds us to release what no longer serves us, old grudges, outdated stories, and fears that weigh us down. Just as leaves fall to make space for new growth, so too can we let go and trust in the cycle of renewal.
The sun shows us that true radiance is unconditional. It doesn’t ask who deserves its warmth, it shines on all, freely and abundantly. Imagine how different our world feels when we embody that same spirit, offering encouragement, compassion, and love without judgment.
And kindness, perhaps the purest reflection of our humanity, needs no reward. When we give simply for the sake of giving, we connect with something greater than ourselves. A smile, a gentle word, a small gesture, these ripple outward in ways we may never see, but their impact is always real.
As we step into this new week, may we carry these reminders with us: release the old, shine brightly, and embody kindness wherever we go. In doing so, we not only light the path for others, we remind ourselves of our own inner brilliance.
Happy Monday!
