"You cannot change the seasons, but you can change yourself, learn to handle the winters, take advantage of the springs, nourish the summers, and harvest in the fall." — Jim Rohn
Life moves in cycles, just like the natural world. There are times of growth and movement, times of stillness and reflection, seasons of gathering, and seasons of rest. The beauty is that while we can’t control the seasons themselves, we can choose how we move through them.
Seasons can also be more relative, personal. Here in the Caribbean, we essentially live in perpetual summer, but that doesn't mean that we don't experience the "seasons" of life. Maybe right now you’re in a “winter,” learning patience and resilience. Or perhaps you’re in your “spring,” full of ideas ready to blossom. Whatever your season, know that it has meaning and purpose. Each one prepares us for the next.
So this week, I invite you to honor the season you’re in, lean into its lessons, its gifts, and its unique beauty. No season lasts forever, the positive ones nor the more difficult ones.
Happy Monday!
