“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.” — Henry David Thoreau
There’s something deeply comforting about the rhythm of the seasons, the quiet assurance that life moves in cycles, not straight lines. Each turn of the year brings its own gifts and lessons, if only we slow down enough to notice them.
In every season, there’s a story unfolding.
Spring whispers renewal and hope.
Summer radiates abundance and joy.
Autumn invites us to release and reflect.
Winter teaches patience and rest.
We don’t resist the changing of the leaves or scold the sea for shifting tides, we accept the flow of nature with trust. But when it comes to our own lives, we often cling tightly to the “good” seasons and resist the ones that feel barren or uncertain. Yet the earth reminds us that even in the bleak months, seeds are being planted beneath the surface. Growth is happening quietly, invisibly, preparing for the next bloom.
Nature has always been my greatest muse, from the shimmer of sunlight on Caribbean waters to the patterns found in flowers, plants, coral and shell. Just like the seasons, gemstones are shaped by time, pressure, and transformation. They remind us that beauty is born from change.
Happy Monday!
