Island life is a constant lesson in slowing down, whether we want to or not! Sometimes it is a hang up with a business entity or a long line at the post office, sometimes it's a chicken or peacock crossing the road. 

When we slow down and let go of our ideas of how things need to be, we can look at these moments as lessons and insight into what we really need. 

Maybe those bumps, or chickens, in the road are actually showing us where we need to be. Sometimes slowing down gets us to where we need to be faster.
