"Christmas isn't just a day, it's a frame of mind..."
This quote comes from the movie "Miracle on 34th Street" which I watched on Christmas morning, enjoying a perfect cup of hot coffee on a "cool" Caribbean winter's morning.
There are so many wonderful messages wrapped up in classic movies like this one, and of course, the one that stood out the most was this one, delivered by Kris Kringle, Santa Claus himself, "Christmas isn't just a day, it's a frame of mind..." and I couldn't agree more.
I've lived my life this way for a long time, every day is really Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, and our birthday if we decide to make it so. Do we really need a single day to remind us that life is beautiful and amazing? I believe in living each day in gratitude, appreciating those around us and our loved ones, and giving gifts when inspiration strikes us.
One of the most beautiful things about the holiday season is that so many people are celebrating and happy, so it really brings more of that energy into the world!
