It's the first full week of 2021! A new year feels like just that: MAGIC. A clean, fresh slate. A brand new book with 365 blank pages. Endless possibilities!
I'm not a new year's resolution person, but I've recently been introduced to the idea of a new year's EVOLUTION - and I just love that idea! Life, for me is about growth, change and evolution. Definitely part of the creative process. We're all creatives at heart, so what will you create this year?
When you look back over the experiences, the moments in your life, I hope these bring you joy. We can be sad about the past, sad that we are no longer experiencing those wonderful moments, or we can be filled with gratitude for the fact that these moments and memories are a part of our story.
People who are genuine and true to themselves show up differently in the world. Unfortunately, many people are stuck trying to be something they believe the world wants them to be instead of having a sense of who they are.
This week is the summer solstice, midsummer, the day the sun travels the longest path through the sky, bringing the most light of any day in the year. This day can be one to reflect on the light that we possess, what that means to us, and how we bring that into our lives.
